Meet Stay Wild’s founder

Kate is an ex-Management Consultant, travel writer and content creator who’s been traveling the world full-time for over four years. With experience running group trips in Pakistan, she saw how incredible group trips can be for improving women’s accessibility to travel to more challenging countries.

Why I created Stay Wild Travel

Stay Wild was born out of a search for affordable group trips for women to destinations that truly excited me. I was shocked by the prices! It felt like women were paying a ‘pink tax’—charged higher rates for the same experiences offered to men.

The destinations marketed to women often lacked that spark of adventure. Sure, they showed you a country, but were you really experiencing it?

Having travelled to over 50 countries, I’ve learned that it’s the people who make a place come alive, and I want you to feel that, too. Throughout my travels, I’ve noticed that meeting and supporting local women can be harder, so I’ve made it Stay Wild’s priority to connect, empower and support their businesses along the way.
